Mark 2:18-22 “The Fermenting Process”

Jesus’ first miracle was to turn water into wine at a wedding. In
today’s passage, he compares his own life and ministry to a wedding
celebration. What is it he is celebrating and what does he mean by
“new wine” and “old wineskins”? That’s something the religious leaders
of his time couldn’t understand, but it is something absolutely
essential for us to figure out! Are we open to God doing new things in
new ways?
