Remembering Rightly

Memorial Day Weekend

Deuteronomy 5:15 & Luke 22:17-20 “Remembering Rightly”

Our Memories are made up of both the good and bad. Not everything we’ve experienced is something we want to remember. Yet, there are some things we can’t forget, even if we want to. In this message, inspired by Miroslav Volf’s book “The End of Memory: Remembering Rightly in a Violent World,” we’ll look at Memory through the lens of the Cross. How does Christ’s Cross help us to process even the difficult memories? Christ was Crucified, but because of the Resurrection, we are able to cherish even the memory of his death. This is our first example of “Remembering Rightly.”
