Message: Trust, Faith, Life in God | Scripture: Matthew 6:25-34
C. S. Lewis wrote: “For the present is the point at which time touches eternity.” To be alive is to live in the present moment. Sometimes we live in the past, either regretting or wishing we could return. Other times we live in the future, either hoping for something to come or anxious about what might be. One of the greatest spiritual practices Jesus invites us to, is to simply live in the present moment. He asks what we can gain or change by worrying about things that are either uncertain or we have no control over. But he also gives us a reason to trust both our past and our future to God, enabling us to live in the freedom of the present moment.
