Message: Mark 9:42-50 “Your Dysfunction is not Serving You Well”

At first glance, this passage may seem like a threat, and it is. But a closer look shows that the threat is not some outward force. Instead, we tend to be a threat to ourselves. Here, Jesus is saying that your dysfunctional behavior is not serving us well. It is leading to self-destructive consequences. Rather than free-fall into an irreparably damaged life, we can take an honest inventory and begin finding healthy ways to live more freely and fully.
