Message: Mark 12:13-17 “The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth”

Many of the titles the early Christians used for Jesus were also used for the Roman Caesar. Throughout history, humans have looked for an alternative Messiah to the one God actually provides. In Jesus, we see what God is actually like and what His plan for humanity actually is. Throughout history, we’ve seen people who profess to be the people of God and even believers in God’s Son, who consistently prefer the Ways of Caesar to the Way of Jesus. The constant call of the Christian throughout history is to embrace the plan God offers through Christ and resist the Devil’s offer to make us rulers of the world through some other means. “The meek shall inherit the Earth”
