Sermon: “Through the Waters” Matthew 3:13-17 
If Baptism is for the repentance of sin, then why was Jesus baptized?
The other unspoken, but revealing part of the text has to do with
where Jesus was baptized. We’ll take a look at why John chose this
particular spot, which holds significant history for Israel as a
nation. In the end, we’ll better understand what baptism really means.
