Message: Mark 11:1-11 “Humility Leads to Honor”

 Is Palm Sunday a Day of Celebration or one of mourning? Who did people expect Jesus to be when he came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey to shouts of “Hosanna?” As Jesus descends the Mount of Olives, he is choosing the path of descent. This is a story about how humility leads to honor in the God’s upside down Kingdom. We too are called to follow the path of humility that leads to the only honor that will last, which is the honor God will give to the humble.
