Message: Mark 10:46-52 “Do You Want to be Healed?”

On his way to the Cross, Jesus passes through Jericho. A blind beggar cries out to him. Jesus asks what seems like a silly question: “What do you want me to do for you?” But in that moment the man had to make a choice. Did he really want to “see”? He seems to have insight into who Jesus is, and he decides he is indeed ready to see and taken on whatever responsibilities that may require. Jesus asks the same question of us and we have to decide if we are ready to take on the responsibility that comes with healing.
