Mark 2:1-12 “When the Roof Caves In”

This week we come to the famous story of the paralytic who is healed
after being lowered in front of Jesus through the roof. What is
interesting is that it is in no way apparent that Jesus intends on
physically healing him. Instead, this biblical story points to the
real work and miracle Jesus came to do. We are often seeking God for
important, but not primary concerns. Why is it that our prayers aren’t
always answered? What is it that Jesus came to do?
