Matthew 6:9-13 “Teach Us to Pray”

The human heart was designed to long for intimacy with God.  This is why the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray… they saw Jesus’ intimacy with the Father through prayer and wanted a map to help them find that intimacy too.  Jesus responds with what we know today as the Lord’s Prayer.   Every word is so intentional.  Every phrase is one to be mined.  In it we find a courageous prayer that has the ability to reshape our entire lives.
