Mark 2:23 – 3:6 “Life & Death”

Just after telling the religious leaders that they would not be able
to hold the new thing God is bringing about, Jesus goes on to show the
reason why. In this passage about Sabbath, we see the heart and
intention of God behind all He asks us to observe. Whatever is of God
moves toward life and goodness. Anything else is a misunderstanding or
misapplication.
