Luke 10:38-42 “It will not be Taken from Her”

 From the very beginning, God has given women equal place alongside
men. Why then has it seemed women were second to men? So much has to
do with the way we tell the story and what we choose to see and what
we choose to overlook. On this Mother’s Day, we’ll relook at the women
who God honored because they honored Him. We’ll retell the stories,
looking at key details that have too often been left out. We’ll
discover what it means that a woman is invited to sit at the feet of
Jesus to learn, and that Jesus declares this place will not be taken
from her.
