Mark 1:20 – 34 “Restoration”

Mark reveals Jesus as one who carries an authority unseen before in
Israel. Jesus begins his ministry in Capernaum at the local synagogue.
He teaches in a way that differs from the other teachers of his day.
He backs up the validity of his teaching by casting a demon out of a
possessed man and healing the sick. It will be for the people to
decide whether they will accept this authority in their lives. Today,
we each are faced with the same decision and must come to terms with
what it means for Jesus to be the authority of and in our lives. This
decision will determine our Restoration.
